NEWS / Students from Forestry University Explore Rila Monastery Nature Park

Today, the Directorate of Rila Monastery Nature Park welcomed fourth-year students from the Ecology and Environmental Protection program at Forestry University. The visit was part of their planned educational practice for the "Protected Natural Areas" course.
The day began with an informative session at the park's Visitor and Information Center, followed by a guided tour along the Dendrological Route. Led by Chief Assistant Dr. Hristina Bancheva-Preslavska and Head Assistant Dr. Georgi Kadinov, the students learned about the park's management and conservation strategies and explored the Directorate's efforts to promote the park's unique biodiversity.
This hands-on practice aims to enhance students' practical knowledge and skills in ecology and environmental protection.
