Experts from the Rila Monastery National Park will remove vegetation that hinders the development of protected plants in the park

Experts from the Rila Monastery Nature Park Directorate at the Executive Agency will remove vegetation in predetermined areas of natural habitats located in the park. The aim is to restore the natural habitats of protected plants that are subject to destruction caused by negative impacts from tourists and grazing animals in the areas of the Tiha Rila area and the Kalin dam.
Habitat destruction is the main reason for the extinction of many plant and animal species, both in Bulgaria and around the world. This is a process with a huge impact on the evolution and conservation of biodiversity.
